Dr. Chang was born in Taipei, Taiwan and grew up in Lubbock, Texas. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in genetics from Texas A&M University. Upon graduation from Texas A&M, she spent two years there researching craniofacial defects. This sparked her interest in dentistry. She then attended The University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio to earn her DDS degree. During dental school, she participated in researching the cellular response to anti-microbial coated titanium implants. After graduating dental school in 2001, she moved up to Redmond and worked for Dr. John Huleen as an associate. She bought the practice from Dr. Huleen in 2005 after he retired. Dr. Chang is very involved on both the state and local level of dentistry. She is a member of:

Dr. Chang is married and has two young rambunctious boys, Andrew and Matthew. She enjoys spending time with her family outdoors and is an avid exerciser. She has successfully completed three marathons.
